Privacy Policy

RevivalFrame is designed to display your photos without turning them into our data. We do not operate a service that receives your photo library, account credentials, or usage history.

Effective July 28, 2026

At a glance

  • No RevivalFrame account
  • No advertising
  • No behavioral analytics
  • No sale of personal data

1. Information we collect

RevivalFrame does not collect personal information on behalf of its developer. The App does not require you to create an account, and it does not include advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores preferences locally on your device, such as your selected photo source, playback interval, transition, display options, cache size, Immich shared link, and SMB server, share, and username. Passwords entered for Immich or SMB are used for the connection and are not saved by the App.

Photos loaded from a source may be kept temporarily in an on-device cache to improve playback. You control the cache size in the App.

3. Photo sources and network connections

When you choose Immich or SMB, RevivalFrame connects directly from your device to the server or shared album you configure. Your requests and any information you provide are governed by that service or server's own privacy and security practices. The developer of RevivalFrame does not receive your photos or credentials through these connections.

4. Photo metadata and location names

If a photo contains EXIF metadata, the App can display details such as camera model, capture settings, date, and GPS coordinates. This processing occurs on your device. If you enable Location Name, the App may send the photo's coordinates to Apple's geocoding service to resolve a city, region, or country. Apple's handling of that request is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

5. Website

This website does not currently use accounts, advertising, or analytics cookies. Like most websites, its hosting provider may process basic technical information such as IP address, request time, and browser details to deliver and protect the site.

6. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. Because RevivalFrame does not collect your photo library or credentials, we do not share that information with third parties. Network services you choose to connect remain independent of RevivalFrame.

7. Children's privacy

RevivalFrame is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, website, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
